This applies to all on-campus housing, including Grace Street apartments. If student lives off campus, their mail is handled directly through USPS. They will not have a JMU mailbox.

***Attention Students***

For security purposes, after checking your mailbox, close the door and spin the lock to ensure the lock re-engages.
If not, it may be possible for a passerby to turn the k**b and open your mailbox.
Just one quick spin of the dial will secure your mailbox.
Please don't leave your mailbox vulnerable to theft.

This week, we checked in 5,650 packages while handing out 6,011!
It's been a little busy in the mailroom!

The Mailroom will have adjusted hours for the holidays.

Windows will be closed November 24th thru November 29th for package pickup.

Just a few of the packages received so far this morning with no name on them.
PLEASE make sure your student's NAME is on the package too.
It is very often that students that "used to be in that box" still send packages to their old mailbox. We can not process these packages until researched to verify ownership.
This makes the wait much longer to receive their package.

Congratulations JMU Graduates!
With a special congratulations to our own Allison S.! We're all very proud of you and will miss you, but know you are on to great and wonderful things!

And, with the end of the semester, we are now observing Summer Hours. We are open Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm and Friday, 9am-noon. No weekend hours. We will also be closed 5/26 for Memorial Day.

Any mail that has been left behind will automatically be forwarded to you. If there is no forwarding address on your MyMadison, we will send your mail to your Home Address. If you have a package that was left behind, most packages cannot be forwarded.
Your options are:
1. If you're in the area, you can still pick it up.
2. We can return it to the sender, and you can reorder to be sent to your current address.
3. You can have someone pick it up for you by sending us an email ([email protected]) authorizing someone to do so.
4. You can pay the cost of postage (via FLEX only) and we can ship it to you.
