A few from yesterday and today! ❤️

A big thank you to the Harrisonburg Police Department for their visit this morning! The children enjoyed a wonderful safety lesson and had the opportunity to learn about the important work police officers do in our community. They even had the chance to explore a cruiser and motorcycle.

A special highlight was hearing from a dispatcher and learning what happens when you call 911. The children were engaged, asked great questions, and gained valuable knowledge about staying safe and knowing who to call in an emergency. We are so grateful for the time spent with our students and for all that our local first responders do each day! 🚓💙👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

🦕 D is for Dinosaur! 🦖

Ms. Katrina’s class is exploring the letter D this week with lots of fun dinosaur-themed activities and hands-on learning!

Meanwhile, Ms. Kiersten’s class is practicing their cutting and pasting skills, building creativity and independence. Ms. Courtney’s class is strengthening their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through engaging activities designed to help little hands grow stronger every day.

We love watching our friends learn, explore, and develop new skills through play! 💚📚✂️🎨

Thank you Branch’s Soft Serve Ice Cream Truck for coming to the center this afternoon to set up for our staff and families! What a sweet way to end the week! 🍦

We had such an amazing day yesterday celebrating our sweet graduates! Seeing how proud the children were of themselves made every bit of hard work worth it. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you and all that you’ve accomplished.

While we may not be quite ready to say goodbye, you are more than ready for kindergarten. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you’ll do next! 🎓❤️

Our little learners spent yesterday and today exploring, creating, and growing through play. Every smile, discovery, and accomplishment reminds us just how special these moments are. 🌟

In pre-k, Ms. Kiersten gives the children the opportunity to lead circle time! It’s an ideal time for them to showcase what they know, and they love being “in charge” of the class. They finished up their instruction time with a fun craft, practicing cutting and pasting.

Ms. Priscilla’s class had a fun morning as well! They colored popsicles, perfect for a nice day like today, and did small group centers after ride and shine!
