We got to see this awesome hot air balloon right over Arcoiris this morning!

We enjoyed exploring ice yesterday!

Today we are working on our piñatas ! It’s a process that takes skills and patience, we are so excited for the results next week!

We had so much fun today !

If you are a parent or educator I encourage to follow Mr Chazz, he has great advice and techniques for working with kids and we share the belief that children are people worthy of respect of empathy so his videos are full of ideas on how to parent gently and respectfully.

When being assertive, have a tone of confidence and paint a picture of what you want the child to do. Make eye contact, say the child’s name, move near and gently (but clearly) guide them with the knowledge that they are doing their best. Avoid being passive. If your command is non negotiable, resist asking a question. “Can you put your shoes on please?” or “Will you put your toys away?” is a question that suggests there is a choice when there isn’t. Then we yell, lecture or s***k when they aren’t moved by our passive request. People who grow up with hearing “Confusing Commands” in the form of “requests” may have a harder time differentiating between the two.

We had our Spring Egg Hunt today! It was great to see our children work collaboratively and have so much fun!
