We wrapped up Zoo Week in the BEST way today! 🦙🐷🐶 🐐💛

Our friends Wes and Diana from Top Notch Farm brought the petting zoo right to Agape! We had alpacas, goats, pigs, and even a sweet therapy dog come for a visit.

The kids absolutely loved getting up close, interacting with the animals, and learning a little along the way… and if we’re being honest, we’re pretty sure the teachers enjoyed it just as much! 😂🥰

Such a fun, hands-on way to end the week. A huge THANK YOU to Wes and Diana for taking the time to make today so memorable! 🐾❤️

Pre-k had a great time getting our bodies moving with the parachute!! 🪂 Running, lifting, shaking and working together kept us active while building teamwork and coordination. We love learning through play!

We are TWO! ✨ Happy Anniversary, Agape! 🤎 🎉

July 29, 2024, we opened the doors to Agape Center for Care with a dream of creating a place where children are loved, families are supported, and our community is served well.

Today, we celebrated this milestone with a beautiful balloon display by Maria and her business, Memorable Executive Events, matching anniversary shirts for our amazing team, and a delicious Cracker Barrel lunch together.

We are so thankful for our dedicated staff, the wonderful families who have trusted us with their children, and everyone who has supported and encouraged us along the way. Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping make these first two years so special. Here’s to all that’s still to come!

✨Congratulations to our Co-Owner and Program Director, Brooke, on being recognized as one of the Daily News-Record’s “15 Under 50” honorees!✨

We couldn’t be more proud to celebrate someone who pours her heart into the children, families, and staff at Agape Center for Care every single day.

What makes Brooke most proud isn’t an award—it’s the center environment that she has cultivated. She wholeheartedly believes that quality childcare should be accessible and inclusive and has created a safe place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Brooke’s heart has always been bigger than simply providing childcare. Her vision was to build a place where children of many abilities can learn together, families feel seen and supported, and every child has the opportunity to thrive and she has done just that.

She has worked hard to partner with incredible organizations like Infant Toddler Connection, Compass Behavioral Group, and Highlight Educational & Behavioral Services. These relationships allow us to collaborate with families and connect them with additional resources and support when appropriate, helping us better serve any unique needs of the children in our care.

Brooke, thank you for leading with compassion, advocating for all children, and making a lasting difference in our community. This recognition is well deserved, and we’re grateful to have you leading the way at Agape. 💛

Twos created a fun octopus craft by gluing Cheerios onto the octopus’s tentacles. 🐙 🌊🦑 As we crafted, we talked about sea animals while also strengthening our fine motor skills. Picking up the Cheerios and carefully placing them on the paper helped practice our pincer grasp, hand-eye coordination, and concentration - all important skills for future writing and everyday tasks! 🥰🥰🥰
