JMU Alpha Phi Omega - APO Rush Alpha Phi Omega! Although Alpha Phi Omega is not the only service organization at JMU, it has fulfilled an important role.

Alpha Phi Omega is a national, co-ed service fraternity with principles based on the Boy Scouts of America with a motto strived for since our founding in 1925: "Be a leader, be a friend, be of service." The Chi Gamma chapter has encouraged its members to assume numerous leadership roles in many other organizations, inspired them to appreciate each other as brothers and friends, and provide service

to the JMU campus and Harrisonburg community....WHILE HAVING FUN! The Chi Gamma chapter is currently a member of Section 82, which lies inside Region III.
