JMU juniors ENGR 314 Engineering Materials Lab are learning about heat treatment processing of steel and the effect on structure and thus properties.

We take safety very seriously and therefore this is hands-off learning (literally!) and not hands-on learning.

Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) is critical to the engineering design process. Failure to design for failure modes is creating opportunities for us at JMU Engineering!
