In case you wondered... What is she up too?! :D ♡

So you may or may not know that we sold Shenandoah Valley Child Development Center to Tina Nelson in 2022. We still own the business and are allowing her to operate under our license until the contract is finalized, probably 2032. Think lease to own... :D

When God healed me from cancer in 2020, I told him I would open as many centers as I could and train people to run them for HIM. It's been a wild ride so far....

July 2023 we opened Charlie's Guiding Light in Luray which is owned by Carolyn Richards.
In November of 2023 we opened Moving Mountains Academy of Early Learning which is 82% Owned by Pamela Johnson Houck & 8% Carolyn Richards. This center is being sold to Holly Richards , Carolyn's daughter, effective June 1st. 2024.
We are currently working on one in Elkton called Little Scholars Academy of Rockingham County which is owned by Monica Elizabeth Cubbage.
Last but not least I am opening Valley Pike Early Learning Center at 3445 Lee Hwy in Weyers Cave, Va. This will be my 8th and final location and be owned by my youngest daughter, Shayna Simmons.
God has Blessed us Exceedingly, Abundantanly beyond our wildest imaginations. What an honor to care for HIS children for over 36 years!

Pie day yesterday was a success. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend. The kids really enjoyed it. We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and we will see you all on Monday.

Busy day at SVCDC!! Our Fall Festival was a lot of fun and we loved seeing all the costumes. The kids enjoyed going around to each classroom and playing games to get prizes. Thank you to everyone who donated goodies!

Our first Trunk or Treat was a hit! Thank you to everyone who came out to show love and bring the kiddos for some treats. A HUGE thank you to our families and staff for decorating trunks and participating! We appreciate you so much! Until next year....
