HOW TO: Rank your Area Preferences

Area preferences are due by July 1 through the Online Housing Portal (see Lnk.Bio)

If you have a roommate, make sure you both list the same area preferences to avoid conflicting information when ResLife makes your Housing Assignment

Transfer Students:

Building preferences (emailed to [email protected]) and roommate selections (through the Online Housing Portal) are due by June 15!

HOW TO: Find a Roommate

• Search the Online Housing Portal (See Lnk.Bio)
• Social Media groups
• Opt to be "ResLife Matched" when you receive your housing assignment based on your Lifestyle Questionnaire

First Year Housing Contracts and Residential Learning Community (RLC) Applications are due by May 31!

Incoming First Year Students MUST have a signed Housing Contract through the Online Housing Portal (See Lnk.Bio). The RLC Application is also available during your contract signing process!

It's already time to get ready to move out?! Can you believe it?
All residence halls close May 14, 2026 at noon
We are sad to see you all leave, but make sure you move out properly and on time for a smooth start to summer!

Want to know why you should complete the perception study?
P.S. Its emailed to on-campus residents every Monday!

By completing the survey known as the Perception Study, ResLife can improve hall staff practices, hall amenities, and more! We are able to determine if safety and security practices are effective in your halls and make sure residents feel at home.

In the past, we have taken feedback to add ice machines, select new furniture from common areas, and even relocate some lounges for better resident use!
Make sure you give your feedback so we can continue to improve!

First Year Housing Contracts open today!
PLEASE READ FOR IMPORTANT DETAILS:
• It does NOT matter what day/time you sign your housing contract, only that you sign it before May 31
• When you sign your housing contract has NOTHING to do with your room assignment - room assignments take place at a later time and are a random lottery
• You can apply to a Residential Learning Community (RLC) in the Housing Contract process
• All contract processes are through the Online Housing Portal (see Lnk.Bio and/or our website)

• April 3: Online Room Selection time slots sent via email to students with signed contracts

*You must be able to fill the entire space
• April 10: Fill a bed space
