SGA is a campus organization designed to be a voice for the broader student body. We are here to listen to your concerns and work with you to make change.
We meet on Wednesday nights in room UC 211/212 at 8:30 p.m. Come join us...we have snacks! All students are welcome to sit in on meetings. Our meetings primarily focus on funding requests and reports from subcommittees that are working on various projects around campus. We use parliamentary procedure for our meetings to ensure fair proceedings, which might feel a little different than the many circle processes that EMU employs.

In an effort to try to take important topics that are going on right now at EMU and make them available to all members of the EMU community, SGA has started a podcast! This podcast will feature a series of interviews with important and interesting people at our university that will be able to provide their thoughts and perspective on big things going on right now on campus.
Our first two episodes are up at the link below. The first episode is an introduction to the podcast and also discusses the recent budget cuts, and the second episode features Professor Kevin Seidel discussing the new curriculum revisions that EMU will be adopting next year. We hope that you all enjoy these conversations, and please be sure to let us know who else we should feature in future episodes!
