Hey Dukes!

Want to know if you're COVID-free before seeing family during Thanksgiving break? Free COVID-19 self-test kits are available this week (Nov. 15–19) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stop by one of the info tables located in the Festival Upper Level, D-hall 2nd Floor (Warner Commons Entrance) and SSC 1st Floor. You must bring your JACard to be swiped. Each student is entitled to one kit, which has two tests inside. Self-test kits cannot be used to replace Regular Screening Testing.

There is also walk-up open testing all week in The Union, Warren Hall 502 Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.–noon.

Last night, Ellis Lar-Moore (VP Social Justice and Inclusion on the Interfraternity Council) and the office of Fraternity and Sorority life at JMU hosted a Panel on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Memorial Hall. We opened up the floor to hard conversations between students, professors, and administrative faculty at JMU. Thank you for the incredible turnout, to our amazing panelists, and to Ellis for organizing one of many needed events on this topic. On to the next!
