We are delighted to announce that Selah Academy is adding a 2-day preschool for 3 & 4-year-olds for the 2026-2027 school year. We are also thrilled to announce that Sue Kirk, our beloved music teacher, will lead this new class. Among her many gifts is her vast knowledge of children's literature and children's songs. It was another busy and fun week at Selah! We've been studying Italy & continued that into this week by making calzones, studying the artist Michelangelo and trying our own hand at sculpture making, and of course reading, reading, reading.

The highlight of the week was ice skating at Generations Park in Bridgewater. The children took to the ice so quickly and it was such a fun experience.

As we wrap up another week, we are so thankful for the privilege of teaching these wonderful children. What a gift!

It was so great to be back for a full week of school, even though the outside world is still very icy! We're learning about different countries and this week we focused on France. We've been learning French words and songs, and we made a French dish, Quiche Lorraine, for a delicious lunch! We also had a visit from a real commercial pilot (Thank you Thomas Hayes!) who told us all about his job and the many places he has been. We ended the week with a rousing time of games and sports at the gym that First Presbyterian Church so graciously lets us use. Looking forward to more fun days next week!
