Harrison Alumni Marks 125th Gathering
44 Attend Annual Gathering, 31 graduates

Wayne Bucholz was the Wall of Fame honorees this year and his family was in attendance to accept the award on his behalf. Bucholz was a Harrison grad from the class of 1951 and passed away earlier this year. He is a familiar figure to most of the graduates in attendance. He spent his career as an educator as a principal and superintendent, coach, athletic director, basketball official, and even bus driver. His career was split between the Harrison Schools and several districts in the Upper Peninsula.

The most mature graduate at this event was Lillian (Hoard) Leposky who graduated in 1948. Lillian took home a beautiful mixed bucket of flowers. Her son Michael Leposky scored a gas card as the graduate who traveled the furthest to attend; he lives in Christmas, Michigan.

Harrison High School Alumni will be hosting the 2026 Coffee Hour and Business meeting on Sat. May 23, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the high school auditorium.

Admission is $5 at the door. 50/50 tickets will be sold. Invite your classmates and plan to attend!
