It’s back to school time. That also means updating the consent for the School Based Health Center. For those of you who wish to do so, please either complete the paper version in your child’s back to school packet. Or if you prefer, you can also complete an online version through the Harrison Community Schools website. Click on the menu button and choose School Based Health Center consent form. You will have to click that you agree, then complete the form and it will be sent directly to the Health Center staff. Please note that consents from last school year will expire on 8/31/26 and we will need a new one to serve your child for the current school year.

Today, all of our teachers, social workers, counselor, and administrators spent the day learning together at the Magnus Center.

They participated in a rapid design cycle to put themselves in a real-world engineer/designer's shoes, to experience a performance task of the kind they might have their students do. In the end, they had to prototype their design, which sought to solve a problem for their partner.

Other learning was around instructional non-negotiables, working in collaborative teams, and our four-year AI implementation plan. We are ready to start the year!
