Wildcat Track Divisionals Update!

Our Wildcat tracksters showed up and competed hard at Divisionals, and we could not be more proud of the effort, grit, and heart they brought to each event.

Mason ran in the 100-meter prelims and, while he did not advance, he capped off a great final season as a Wildcat. We are sad to see him leave the team, but we are incredibly proud of the young man he is and excited to see all he accomplishes as he heads into the Navy.

Rylan had a great day in the high jump, placing 5th and earning a trip to the State Track Meet in Laurel next week! Congratulations, Rylan!

Halen and Stephanie competed in the shot put, finishing 12th and 17th, respectively. Both athletes represented Harrison well and showed tremendous determination in a tough field of competitors.

Braxton pushed himself in both distance races, placing 10th in the 1600 meters and 7th in the 3200 meters. He ran with heart and gave strong efforts in both races.

Our girls 4x100 meter relay team also made us proud. This impromptu relay group only competed together once at Districts before earning their way to Divisionals. While they were unfortunately disqualified due to a handoff, their willingness to step up, work together, and take on the challenge says so much about their character and team spirit.

We are so proud of every one of our athletes for the work they put in this season. Thank you for representing Harrison with pride, effort, and Wildcat heart.

Now letโ€™s cheer on Rylan as she heads to State!

Stay Wild, Wildcats!
