We’re Christina and Karen, co-founders of Esther’s Porch.

EP Studio is where creativity comes to life ✨
A cozy creative studio filled with art, mystery, workshops, parties, and nostalgic experiences for kids, teens, and families. What started as a space for cozy, story-driven learning has grown into something bigger:

Playschool: A 3-hour, play-based preschool program where children ages 3–5 learn through stories, movement, and hands-on exploration. Even

ts, Workshops, and Camps: A variety of opportunities for all ages to learn, create, and connect. From seasonal clubs and pop-up workshops to family events and summer camps for kids and teens, these experiences are designed to spark curiosity, build community, and encourage every participant to explore new interests. Printable Resources: Downloadable guides, dramatic play kits, and creative activities that extend the Porch experience into your home and classroom. At Esther’s Porch, we believe learning should feel like storytelling, where kids live the adventure, not just read about it. Every program, printable, and event is intentionally designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and belonging. Christina is our heart for the classroom — with 20+ years in early childhood education, trauma-informed care, and play-based curriculum. She knows how to create spaces where kids thrive. Karen is our strategist and creator — blending 20+ years in business analysis and project management with digital design and marketing to bring the Porch to life online and in person. Together, we’re moms, educators, and community builders who believe every child deserves a space to feel safe, inspired, and empowered. Whether you’re joining us for Playschool, taking part in a workshop, signing up for a camp, or downloading a resource to use at home, you’re part of the story. Pull up a chair — there’s always room for you on the Porch.

✨ If you haven’t been into Esther’s Porch yet… hi! I’m Christina, the owner and creator behind Esther’s Porch. 🏠🪿🎨

One thing you’ll learn about me pretty quickly — I get VERY enthusiastic about themed events and activities. 😂

Some might say I take things a little too far.
Some might call it a little too whimsical.

I call it creating an experience. ✨

So when I heard Ren Faire was coming to the District, there was absolutely no way I was just putting a couple crafts on the table and calling it a day. 😂

What started as a few special DIYs has somehow turned into The Enchanted Porch… 🏰🐉👑

We’re creating a Princess Quarters, a Dragon Lair, special Ren Faire DIYs, glitter freckles, temporary tattoos, our Charm Bar, and apparently I’m still adding things. 😂

I gave Maddie at Enchanted Novelties  our original DIY lineup a while ago, but let’s just say… things have escalated. 😂✨

I’ll be sharing little sneak peeks throughout the week, but I’m keeping some of the magic under wraps until Saturday.

Because at Esther’s Porch, I don’t just want you to come in and make something.

I want you to experience something. 💛✨

I absolutely love seeing Esther’s Porch become a place to add to your day out—shop the district, grab a bite, explore, and make a little something to remember the adventure. ✨

Some of the Harrison Wildcat Cheerleaders spent their rainy day enjoying the District and stopped by Esther’s Porch to create their own custom charms at our Charm Bar! 💚📣
