Today, Harrison Middle School FBLA traveled to Mountain Home for the District VI FBLA Fall Conference at ASUMH! 💙💛

Our students had a great day connecting and networking with fellow FBLA members from across the district, listening to an inspiring keynote speaker, learning more about FBLA, and enjoying pizza together on the ASUMH campus.

We also participated in a Hope Walk for Alzheimer’s awareness, coming together to support a cause that is especially meaningful to FBLA through our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association.

The day also included the induction of local chapter officers, and our very own chapter president, Bellah Burns, had the opportunity to take the stage and announce that Harrison Middle School FBLA had 41 students in attendance! 🎉

We are so proud of our members for representing HMS, making connections, and showing up ready to learn, lead, and make a difference.

Harrison Middle School FBLA is starting “Fuel Up with HMS FBLA” - a coffee drive-thru for parents in the morning car rider line!

October 2, 9, 23 & 30
(No school October 16)

⏰ 7:00-7:55 AM or while supplies last

☕️ $4 Coffees

☕️ Hot Coffee with Cream & Sugar

💳 We will accept card payments, but cash is preferred so we can avoid processing fees.

All proceeds and donations will support HMS FBLA by helping provide opportunities for our students to attend conferences and helping students with the cost of the National Fall Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., this November! 🇺🇸

Our FBLA students will be working the drive-thru, so please be patient with us as they learn the process - this Friday, October 2, is our first day! We are excited to let our students gain real-world experience while raising money for their chapter.

💜 World Alzheimer’s Day 💜

Today, Harrison Middle School wore purple to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease, a progressive brain disease that affects memory, thinking, and daily life.

Alzheimer’s Association is also one of FBLA’s national partners, making this cause especially meaningful to our organization. 💜 Thank you to all of our students who wore purple today to help spread awareness and show their support!

Our HMS FBLA officers are getting ready for the October 7 District Fall Conference in Mountain Home! Students will meet district officers, hear from a speaker, and learn all about FBLA and the year ahead! ✨

🇺🇸❤️ Honoring those who serve our community

Our Harrison Middle School FBLA officers had the opportunity to attend the 9/11 ceremony at the fire station, where they handed out goodie bags and thank you cards to show their appreciation for those who serve and protect our community.

After the ceremony, our officers got to tour both the fire station and police station with Officer Mills. They met a K9, learned more about the work our first responders do, and got to see the facilities firsthand. Two of our officers even got the opportunity to sit in a holding cell! 🐾🚔🚒

Our officers then continued spreading appreciation by delivering goodies to the staff at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC). 🏥💙

We are proud of our HMS FBLA officers for taking the time to honor, thank, and serve the people who care for our community! 🇺🇸✨

Harrison Middle School FBLA is collecting spare change at the football games on September 3 & 4 to support the Alzheimer’s Association, FBLA’s National Partner, and help raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease.

Every coin can make a difference! 💜

Have a car console full of coins? Clean it out and bring that spare change to the game! 💜

Look for our “Memories Matter” sign and jugs at the gate and help us make an impact while supporting a cause that affects so many families.
