UA Northark UA Northark is a two-year community college located in Harrison, Arkansas. Our mascot is Pioneer Pete. No form of sexual discrimination will be tolerated.

The college has been a part of the University of Arkansas System since April 20, 2026. North Arkansas College is a comprehensive public two-year college whose mission is to changes lives by providing high-quality, affordable, accessible education to the citizens of Boone, Carroll, Marion, Searcy, Newton, and Madison counties in northern Arkansas. A conservative estimate of North Arkansas College’s

annual economic impact on its service area is over $80 million. This includes extra income earned by area residents because they attended Northark ($69.3 million, based on a study by CC Benefits, Inc.), money spent by the college and its employees each year in the community ($9.2
million), and federal assistance to Northark students over and above the cost of tuition and books ($900,000 plus each semester). During the first decade of the 21st Century, Northark’s enrollment grew from 1,816 students in the fall of 1999 to a record 2,429 students in the fall of 2009, a 34% increase. Northark offers transfer and technical degree programs, one-year technical certificates, certificates of proficiency, customized business and industry training, adult basic education (GED) classes and non-credit community education courses. In addition, partnerships with area universities provide the opportunity to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Harrison. The institution is especially proud of its leadership in the use of educational technology, in community outreach and partnerships, and in health education. 🚐 The Rockwell Automation MCC Demo Van rolled onto UA Northark’s South Campus today!

Students at the Center for Robotics and Manufacturing Innovation (CRMI) received an up-close look at modern motor-control, monitoring and safety technologies used in today’s automated manufacturing facilities. The demo van will remain at the CRMI until 3 p.m. Thursday.

UA Northark was proud to host Employees from the Federal Reserve Tuesday afternoon after the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce's Breakfast with the Fed event. UA Northark Vice Chancellor of Technical Programs and Workforce Development Dr. Lewis Villines led the tour, with assitance from UA Northark faculty and staff as they shared information about the high-demand, high-wage disciplines taught at the CRMIand how the college supports local business and industry.
