The Boone County Library Children's Department serves as the primary resource for the informational needs of the young citizens of Boone and the surrounding counties. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of reading in young people and provide fun, innovative activities that compliment this mission. The library is a place for all citizens to feel welcome in their pursuit of knowledge.

Did you know the Boone County Library offers more than just books, DVDs, telescopes, and other great resources? We also support members of our community by providing hygiene products to those in need.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we've been able to help many individuals and families—but our supply is running low. That's why we're hosting a Hygiene Drive!
