As Warriors Way continues to grow, we are always looking for ways to better serve our participants while building a strong foundation for the future.

Beginning in August, we will be launching a new class schedule designed to provide more opportunities for hands-on learning, increase accessibility, and ensure we can continue expanding our mission of serving Veterans, First Responders, Youth, and our community.

We are excited about this next chapter and look forward to welcoming both new and returning participants to the forge.

Just finished up this guy! It is a wootz blade from steel I made myself, with an ivory paper micarta handle and wrought iron guard. This will be my entry into “The Forge Throw down”, where I’ll be representing warriors way forge. This knife along with 4 other knives will be auctioned off and the winner gets 50% of the proceeds and the other 4 organizations split the other 50%. Wish me luck! Oh and by the way they will be auctioned May 17, live on Facebook!

This year, when we committed to this new property, the goal was simple—but big: serve more people than we ever thought possible.
To think outside the box. To use this space for something bigger than ourselves.

After our last ornament class, I sat down and added up the numbers.

1,010 people.

That’s how many individuals Warriors Way has helped—either through our peer-support knife making classes or through our community outreach programs. 1,010 lives touched by community, purpose, and connection.

That number still doesn’t feel real.

None of this happens without the incredible support behind us. The donors who believed in the mission. The organizations that partnered with us. The volunteers who showed up. The people who trusted us enough to walk through our doors.

You didn’t just help build a property.
You helped build a place where people find hope, purpose, and belonging.

From the bottom of my heart—thank you for being part of Warriors Way.
This is just the beginning.

Made my own version of w2 crucible steel and I'm impressed. This was a test piece as it had a small inclusion in the face of the blade. With that being said this is straight off a 400 grit belt finish, with a 10 second soak in ferric. I've struggled mightily for a long time to produce a good hamon for years! I have now found my answer! Minimal effort was put into this and turned out great. I can only imagine what I could do with some effort. For now I need to do some destruction tests and some edge holding tests!
