School starts Monday, August 10th, 2026 – Let’s keep our kids safe!
As buses roll out across Harrison, we’re asking every driver to stay alert — especially around construction zones like Goblin Drive. Bus drivers have a tough job, and our children's lives depend on YOUR attention.
🛑 REMEMBER: If the stop sign is out, YOU MUST STOP. No exceptions. No excuses. 🛑
🚍 Top 3 Areas to Watch Closely:
1️⃣ Appletree Daycare on North Main (Across from Younes Shopping Center)
🚌 Bus #69 – Southbound
📅 AM: 7:15–7:30 | PM: 3:30–3:45
➡️ Multiple kids are dropped off here daily. Slow down and stay alert.
2️⃣ Apartments by Sonic South on Main Street
🚌 Bus #69 – Southbound
📅 PM ONLY: 3:45–4:00
➡️ Watch for children crossing after school. No morning stop.
3️⃣ Ruff Trailer Park on Industrial Park Road
🚌 Bus #63 – Westbound
📅 AM: 7:15–7:30 | PM: 3:30–3:45
➡️ Morning and afternoon traffic MUST be cautious and prepared to stop.
⚠️ Important Reminders for ALL Drivers:
🔹 Watch your speed! In school zones, the posted speed limit around Harrison Middle School is 15 MPH Or less in some areas—
🔹 4-Way Stops are active at:
• Speer & Burlsway
• Burlsway in front of the Cash Center
Please approach with caution and be prepared to stop.
👉 Reminder: If you don’t have direct business on Goblin Drive, parents and students are learning new drop off routes this week so plan accordingly and allow more time for heavier traffic flow until parents and buses learn the new routes.
