Meet Jericha Brock, rising third-year student and Center for Equity and Justice Fellow.
Jericha came to Widener Law Commonwealth determined to use the law to help strengthen communities and expand access to justice. Through the Center for Equity and Justice, she’s researching community policing initiatives and equity-centered programs designed to build trust between institutions and the people they serve.
As part of the Enhanced Community Policing Project, Jericha traveled to the Arkansas Delta to see how the team’s research was being implemented in real time alongside community partners and law enforcement agencies.
“To see the work that we have done being used in real time was impactful. It encourages our team to continue to develop improvements to our work that would benefit those who implement the playbook and the people that they assist.” — Jericha Brock
