The Rice and Soybean Field Day welcomed over 200 attendees to the Northeast Rice Research and Extension Center. The AG-PRO lab was represented by Laura Starkus and Dr. Kaushik Luthra. Inside the center, Ms. Starkus moderated the indoor seminar series and demonstrated a non-destructive grain quality testing machine. Dr. Luthra delivered a presentation on optimal post-harvest management practices specifically for Arkansas rice and soybeans. The event concluded with outdoor wagon tours featuring live field demonstrations of drone-powered land surveying, rice w**d control technologies, and various crop test plots.

Was a great Rice and Soybean field day today. AG-PRO lab represented by Laura Starkus and Dr. Kaushik Luthra. Ms. Starkus moderated the indoor seminar series as well as demonstrated a key piece of lab equipment that can measure grain quality non destructively within seconds. Dr. Luthra presented a talk on Best Postharvest management practices for Arkansas Rice and Soybean.
