Hello everyone! Keep reading for some big news! A few months ago, Mr wonders was nominated for the prestigious Tony Awards Excellence in Theatre Education award. From nominees submitted from across the country, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Mr wonders’ hard work and dedication to developing a thriving theatre program at DCTS has been honored with being awarded an Honorable Mention!!
His commitment to building invaluable life skills for his students through theatre will always be the heart of the DCTS Theatre Program. As many of you know, Mr. Wonders will be leaving DCTS at the end of this year to pursue some exciting new ventures (more to come on that down the road). We could not be happier that he has been recognized by the Tony awards as he says a bittersweet farewell to DCTS and the Theatre Program. Mr. Wonders, you will be missed!!

4th and final day of the Broadway Teachers Workshop! Another jam packed day with our last show (Kimberly Akimbo) this evening! This has been an amazing experience and I will reflect more on this later. For now, I am going to enjoy the last day of class! (And of course, I had to stop and get my bagels again!)
