Meet Connor Weaver, Foodservice Manager at Kitchen Kettle Village, a Lancaster County destination featuring 40+ unique shops, restaurants & lodging. 🥨☕

Connor started at Kitchen Kettle Village with a summer job at 17 just to earn some extra cash, never expecting it to turn into a career. Since then, Kitchen Kettle continued to invest in Connor's growth, furthering his professional development and promoting him to leadership roles over additional departments. Today, Connor is a Foodservice Manager overseeing daily operations across three departments: the Harvest Cafe, the Roasted Rooster Coffee Shop, and MOMS Pretzels. From managing schedules and inventory to running budgets and jumping in on the floor during the lunch rush, he keeps it all moving smoothly.

Connor's advice for students? "As someone who is often the youngest and most inexperienced person in the room…seek out opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. Focus on applying what you learn by asking questions, identifying problems, and offering solutions. More importantly, put in the effort, because it can't be replaced. Skills can be taught, but work ethic sets you apart. If you're willing to work harder and care more than the person next to you, opportunities will come."
