Temple Harrisburg team members, Phebe West and Morisa Classe were proud to participate in Harrisburg High School SciTech Campus’s Mental Health Awareness Fair!

Throughout the day, they connected with approximately 500 students, sharing reproductive health education, STI and pregnancy prevention resources, and information from our partners at Hamilton Health Center.

This outreach is part of the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP), funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, which provides evidence-based education on HIV/AIDS, STI and pregnancy prevention, healthy relationships, puberty and essential life skills.

Thank you to our wonderful team members for attending this event.

"Owls on the Hill" is an annual advocacy day where 33 Temple University students travel to the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg. Participants meet with state legislators to lobby for increased funding and support for higher education. Staff from Temple University College Continuing Education Unit and the Master of Public Policy Program joined the students in the Capitol Rotunda to share information about our programs. Stella, our live owl mascot, and Ho**er, our mascot, made appearances. This event highlights the university's commitment to accessible education.
