🙏 PRAYING FOR OUR SCHOOLS 🙏

Last night, our community came together with one heart—to pray for our schools. ❤️

We were honored to join churches, educators, students, and families from across Saline County as we worshiped and prayed over the students, teachers, and administrators who will begin a new school year.

There is something powerful about a community choosing to pray before we begin. Prayer changes things. Prayer invites God into the places where we need His wisdom, His protection, His strength, and His presence.

“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” — James 5:16

As we begin this school year, let’s keep praying—for every school, every teacher, every administrator, and every student across Saline County. May God bless and guide them all.

Individual Aide -Elementary (full time)

New Hope Christian Academy is seeking a dynamic and passionate full time individual aide (elementary level student) for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will love Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him, and have a heart to work one on one with an elementary student.

Key Responsibilities:
-Work one on one with an elementary aged student with special needs.
-Create and maintain a calm, peaceful environment for students to learn.
-Manage a positive, productive, and safe classroom environment alongside other paras and teachers.
-Communicate regularly with students, parents, and fellow staff regarding student performance.
-Participate in professional development and planning meetings as required.

Qualifications:
-Paraprofessional certification.
-Proven ability to work effectively with elementary age students.
-Experience as a one on one aide.
-Experience with students with special needs and communication disorders.

A huge thank you to Artsco for organizing an Art Supply Drive to benefit local art teachers and students. Every donation helps put creative tools directly into the hands of young artists.

If you’re able, consider contributing and helping inspire the next generation of creators! ❤️🖌️✏️

IT'S ART DRIVE TIME!!!!!

Did you know that teachers in our area have a yearly budget of only $150!? This INCLUDES Art Teachers!! That’s multiple art classes for the ENTIRE year! Do you know how much art supplies cost!!?? This is why teachers are spending hundreds of dollars out of their own pockets, doing fundraisers and asking parents for supplies at the beginning of the year!

We have come together to host an "Art Drive" for the art teachers of Saline County!!! Harrisburg Schools including New Hope, Carrier Mills, Eldorado and Galatia Schools are all included.

They have created a wishlist of the things they need throughout the year to provide quality art lessons and projects to the kids. If you'd like to purchase something from this list, it will be delivered to us and we will distribute it to the teachers.
