I am pleased to have donated a three-hour "Tuning + Extended Service" package to the silent auction benefiting St. Joan of Arc School. I clearly do not update this page often but this is too good an offer to pass up! I hope you will consider bidding as well as checking out the multitude of other silent auction items. The auction closes at 9pm (EDT) Saturday April 26.

SCAM ALERT!
Please be careful of any unsolicited e-mails you may receive from someone claiming they are looking to give away a high quality "like new" baby grand piano (typically Steinway, Yamaha, or Kawai). This is a very common scam that has seen a resurgence in recent months. See the attached article for more details or do a general Google search for "grand piano scam" or similar. And certainly don't hesitate to contact me directly if you have any concerns or uncertainty when it comes to any piano-related transaction!

Do the hammers on your piano look more like those on the left or those on the right? Over time, piano hammers become flattened and grooved due to repeatedly striking the strings during normal playing, resulting in poor tone and lack of projection. Fortunately the process of reshaping hammers to restore their natural resilience is fairly quick and straightforward and yet sadly most pianos have never had this done! Contact me for more details on how to keep your piano sounding the best it possibly can.

I'm a little late posting this but I had the pleasure a couple weeks ago of regulating, tuning, and voicing the piano at Faith Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg for a video recording session of a concert that will be aired on WITF (PBS) television later this summer (details to follow). This was part of their "Concerts on Colonial" series, which will soon be returning for live in-person performances!
