Last week at the 86th Grand Chapter Meeting in Tampa Florida I was bestowed with the 121st Elder Watson Diggs Award. I am truly humbled and honored by this recognition. This honor is a product of Harrisburg (PA) Alumni, Northeastern Province, and the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity for allowing me to serve in multiple ways during my Kappa journey. I never imagined that a young man initiated in Fall 1969 at the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kentucky State College would be so honored. I owe special gratitude to Richard Scott, Esq., the late Herman Thomas, Jeffrey Mack, and Koreem Bell for inspiration and support of my leadership.

The Elder Watson Diggs Award of Kappa Alpha Psi is the second highest award available to a member of the Fraternity for meritorious achievement. The award consists of a gold medallion bearing a likeness of Founder Elder Watson Diggs and a framed certificate of merit.
