This letter goes out, whole heartedly, to every person who has ever walked through the doors of Aa to Zz Child Care and Learning Center; children, parents, family members, staff, support staff, outside agencies, and so many more.

Well, this is it. We started this journey late in 2003, but on June 1, 2004 Aa to Zz officially became incorporated. We opened our first set of doors in August 2004 with TWO KIDS! Those boys will always hold such a huge place in our hearts. Now here we are on August 12, 2022 saying goodbye. After ten various locations, thousands of enrolled children, over one thousand employees, so many families, and countless laughs and tears we bid you farewell. It has been a wild ride, but we would change NOTHING!

While we leave knowing we have left a positive footprint on the early childhood education field (thank you so much to all of you through the years who have told us of our positive impact), we want you to know that we are also leaving much better people because of each one of YOU! Our enrolled children were in our hearts as our own, our employees came to be like close family members, and you all held us up to high standards and quality. While we were never perfect; we were always dedicated, loyal, and worked our hardest to provide high quality care.

As we part ways, at least professionally, we urge you to be kind to one another. Always take a step back and think about what is truly in the best interest of the children. We are all so blessed to surround ourselves with these “littles” who bring such innocence and joy into our lives. Is it always sunshine and roses? Absolutely not! However it is ALWAYS worth it. We are leaving a permanent mark on their inner being and we are affecting who they will become in the future.

To the children…smile, live free, be kind, laugh, and enjoy these few brief years called childhood.

To the parents…please take a moment periodically to say “thank you” to your center staff. They work so hard for you and your kind words go a long, long way. We thank you for allowing us into your children’s lives for the past 18 years. It’s been an absolute blessing.

To the staff…please take the time to truly get to know the children and their families, forming a bond with them is key. You’ll never, ever regret giving a family an extra moment of your time. The greatest blessing we can give any family is being caring and that doesn’t cost anything or take any extra time. And don’t ever forget to sit back and truly absorb the magic of the kiddos because if you do your life will be filled with happiness.

Thank you, to each and every one of you, for nearly two decades in the child care field with Aa to Zz. We thank you, we love you, and we will never forget you. At 6:01 pm, we bid you all adieu.
