🌨️The storm that hit Pennsylvania on Sunday set a daily snowfall record in Harrisburg, according to the National Weather Service.
Harrisburg recorded 14 inches of snow, breaking a one-day record set in 1988 when 5.4 inches fell. The city also broke a one-day rainfall record initially set in 1978. Harrisburg received 1.49 inches of rain on top of the snow on Sunday, eking past the 1.48 inches of rain in the previous record.

For continued safety with the extreme temperatures and wintry mix impacting road conditions, Lower Paxton offices are closed and all activities at the Municipal Center are cancelled for Monday, 1/26.

Reminder: Only travel during a storm if absolutely necessary. Limiting travel allows plows to operate safely and efficiently and keeps routes clear for emergency responders. Always give snow plows extra space and never try to pass them. Thanks for your cooperation.

Folks, you need to pay attention to the rhetoric coming from the Democratic Party.
First it was Tim Kaine of Virgina, and now "Politico". The Democrats are selling the idea that YOUR rights come from government.
Thomas Jefferson and the founders of this great nation stated unequivocally that we are "endowed by our creator with inalienable rights".
If the Democratic Party is successful in selling the lie that rights come from government then it follows that government can then reduce or take away those rights.
Do you accept the Democrat position on your "rights", or the Founders of this great nation?

Democrats continue to obstruct President Trump’s efforts to root out and destroy violent gangs and crime.
14 people were shot in Chicago over the past weekend alone.
Democrats have controlled Chicago for too long, yet nothing has changed.
