CENTRAL DAUPHIN SCHOOL DISTRICT TO FILL BOARD VACANCY

The Board of School Directors of the Central Dauphin School District will hold a Special School Board meeting to appoint a Director to fill a vacancy in Region 3 on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the Administration Building Board Room, 75 South Houcks Road, Harrisburg, PA. The public is welcome to attend.

Lawnton Elementary's 5th grade student, Olivia Matara, recently had a book published. Lawnton students and staff celebrated her with a book launch.

Olivia did a book tour to each of the classrooms and signed copies of her book for her fifth-grade friends.

Copies of her book, "Super Spies" is available to check out at the school library.

Congratulations, Olivia! You are a published author!

Yesterday, we celebrated our retirees at the annual ceremony and luncheon.

On behalf of the school board of directors, staff and students, we wish them a fond farewell in their future endeavors 🎊🎉.
