You’ve probably seen her wandering the HRES halls with her phone… and if you haven’t seen her, you have definitely heard her voice!

Hailing from our nation’s capital, and up next on our quest to get to know our PTO board is our Vice President of Communications, Kayla Davis! Kayla is in charge of all things ✨creativity✨! Whether it is graphics and flyers, our website, social media or taking pictures, she does it all!

Kayla is an avid reader, having read 92 books this year, and if she doesn’t have her phone in her hand, she will definitely have her Kindle! When she’s not cheering on her two boys at the baseball fields, you can find her rooting for her Philadelphia Eagles or watching a good documentary with her husband!

Thank you for everything that you do and create for HRES PTO and our Cowboys!

Our HRES staff members make our students feel so loved and so special so every PTO board needs someone to pour back into the staff!

Meet our Vice President of Hospitality hailing from the “City of Arts”, Winston Salem, Jacie Latch! If you don’t see Jacie walking the halls with special treats and gifts for our staff, you will most definitely see one of her three mini-me’s roaming the halls! She is the ultimate baseball mom and when she’s not on the Town of Harrisburg ballfields, you can find her hanging at Vortex Bottle Shop & Restaurant | Harrisburg, NC with her husband or eating tacos while watching American Ninja Warrior (or Notre Dame and UPitt sports)! 🏀🏈⚾️

Thank you for all you do for our teachers and staff!

Hailing all the way from the buckeye state, is another PTO board veteran and our Secretary, Mishell! Having a son at each of the Ridges (HRES, HRMS and HRHS), Mishell is a tried and true Ridge parent and reps the Hickory Ridge community day in and day out! She is an educator to her core and you may even see her subbing around Cabarrus County Schools!

When Mishell isn’t handling PTO business at two schools, you can find her cheering on her Cleveland Cavaliers, catching a live show with her husband, enjoying amazing food at Hot Tuna or supporting local Town of Harrisburg events and festivals!

Being the PTO Secretary, she manages calendars, meetings and all email correspondence making sure our board is all on the same page and it’s clear by the way that she manages her personal and professional life, that she knows how to juggle it all!
