Hey everyone! After all money was collected & deposited we have around $700 in the account 😊

More money was collected from the middle school today. We still don’t have enough but we are going to wait and see if the restricted number at the park pool will let up this summer. Hopefully we can have a party for our kids at the park pool with a movie. We will keep you posted.

Well, sad news 😞 We only collected $70 from donations at the middle school. With the lack of funds & Covid spiking at the moment, we have decided to postpone the graduation party. If anyone donated they are welcome to have their money back, or we could still deposit it into the class account for their junior year. Sorry everyone, we really did try!!

*We are thinking that some of the homeroom teachers had not sent their money to the office by the time Christy picked it up today....we will check Monday. Party will still be postponed.

Christy will be picking up the donations from the students at the middle school tomorrow. We also had a $100 donation put in the account this week. I know some of you had also said you were getting donations from business, etc. Just let us know when you collect those so we can see how much money we have to work with!! Thanks everyone!! 😊

Chris & Krystal Wilson are willing to let us use McKinley for our 8th graders! Here is what would be available:

We have the whole youth group room upstairs. It has ping-pong, basketball, we could set up video games.
Then down in the gym we could set up the nine square grid. And have some dodgeball tournament or something
We also have the big kitchen attached, so it would be easy for food

Let me know what everyone’s thoughts are.

Also, Christy Shires is working on a note that will go home this week with all 8th graders about parent donations. We can use all money raised for food, prizes, decorations, etc.

We are getting there!!!! Thanks everyone! 😊

Bowling alley is now unavailable graduation night due to a bowling league conflict 😫 We are back at square one....

Hi parents! We wanted to make a page where we could all discuss a way to give our 8th graders a graduation party this year! The bowling alley will rent it out to us after graduation for 2 hours for $800, and we can provide our own food. With there being no dances or ways to raise funds this year we would need a way to come up with this money. Let us know what you think, and invite any parents we may have missed!
