🚨Attention Class of 1976🚨

Join us on Friday night as the Crusaders take on the State College Little Lions!! Your class will be meeting for a reunion gathering at the alumni tailgate around 5:00 PM. The game is at 7:00 PM. Then come down to The Wharf on Derry Street for a postgame celebration.

At the game this Friday evening it is Orange For Owen night, and we will also honor Maria Behr ‘78 who tragically lost her life on September 11, 2001.

⚾️⚾️ Join us on Saturday, September 26th, as we gather for a pre-game tailgate starting at 4:00 PM and cheer on the Philadelphia Phillies when they take on the Tampa Bay Rays at 7:15 PM. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, enjoy a baseball game, and meet members of the McDevitt leadership team, including:

💥 Attention McD Alumni!! 💥

Mark your calendars!! 📅

We will be hosting tailgates for our alumni before every Friday home game this season to honor all of you during the 100th Season of McDevitt Football 🏈🏅 Each game will honor different decades and former players from those eras are invited onto the field for a special watch party behind the North End Zone 🏟️

ALL ALUMNI are welcome to the tailgates, not just the classes we are honoring those evenings. It is free to attend, but parking will be limited in the tailgate lot, so get there early to claim your spot!! ⏰🛻

Tailgates begin at 4:30 PM with live music from Smooth Entertainment 🎧🎼 and will feature an Alumni tent with subs, Philly pretzels, and beverages. 🥖🥨🍺

The Homecoming tailgate will begin on Saturday, 10/24 at 8:30 am and will require a pre-purchased pass in order to park in the tailgate lot due to demand. Information about pricing and how to purchase a tailgate pass for that event will be posted later. ⏳

🌟CLASS OF 1966 - 60TH REUNION
Date: Saturday, August 29th
Where: Gilligan’s Bar & Grilll, 10 N. Houcks Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109
When: 1:00 PM
**Dessert to follow lunch on Saturday at Jean and Bob Fasick’s house, 7060 Creek Run Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111
**On Friday, August 28th the class will gather at the Bishop McDevitt football game around 5:00 PM.
**There is a free alumni tailgate being planned by the Bishop McDevitt Advancement Department beginning at 4:30 PM in front of Rocco Ortenzio Stadium on campus.
**This is the opening game of the 100th Season of McDevitt Football and the school will be honoring the 50s & 60s classes at their pregame alumni tailgate.

🌟CLASS OF 1971 - 55TH REUNION
Date: Friday, October 9, 2026
Where: Lawnton Legion Post 998, 4700 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111
When: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Cost: $35.00 per person
**Includes hot and cold buffet, coffee, tea, soft drinks, dessert. Cash bar available. Also helps to cover postage, etc.
**After lunch, we will attend the McDevitt vs. Altoona football game on Friday, October 9th at 7:00 PM at Rocco Ortenzio Stadium. An Alumni tailgate will be held in the parking lot in front of the stadium beginning at 4:30 PM.
**Deadline to RSVP is September 25, 2026.

Last week we honored our Golden Crusaders with the Golden Class of 1976 and the Golden Plus Classes of 1971, 1966, 1961, and 1956. It was a great morning that started with tours of the building, followed by a Mass in Finestra Hall and an address from our Principal, Dr. Vincent Harper, then a catered lunch served by our students in the Stained Glass Hallway outside of Saint Sebastian Hall. The Crusader Chorale also gave them a show while they ate their meal! Our Student Helpers were thrilled to meet and serve these Golden Crusaders. Thank you to all of our attendees, we were honored to have you back in our hallways. 🔵🟡
