We are in need of help in the garden this year. Most of the plants have been planted. As you know the rain has been hit or miss lately and we need help in watering.
Mare Thomas will be at the Garden tonight at 7:00 or 7:30 pm to water. Please if you have a little time to spare - please come to the garden to help water.
Also, if anyone has any spare time and would like to water early in the morning let me know the timeframe. Thanks for all of the volunteers for RSCC Garden.

A lot of things are going on in the RSCC Garden 2018 this year. The garden was awarded one of RSCC President's Imagination Mini-Grants to purchase a shed & fencing.
We need to say a special thanks to Wes Parks who came out an plowed and then tilled the garden this year. He done an excellent job.
In just the last few days Nancy, Mare, and Wes have been planting lots of goodies: Cucumbers, Sweet Banana Peppers, Tomatoes, Organic Zucchini and Collards. Yum-Yum. Also planted Corn and Okra. Planning on planting the beans soon.
We are starting to plan evening and Saturday morning weeding and water days. So stay tuned for more information and times to volunteer.
Going to be a GREAT 2018 RSCC Garden. Thanks everyone.

The RSCC Community Garden will have it's 1st meeting for this planting season of 2018 on March 28th at 10:30 beside of the RSCC Community Garden site. I would like to invite anyone that would like to volunteer this season to be there if possible. We will also be planting trees in the RSCC Community Garden "Fruit Forest". Please come out and join us!! It's Organic no pesticides - No harmful spray!
