Giant Steps has some great deals if you are looking to upgrade from a beginner horn. If you make the trip down to the store they will let you tryout all of their instruments before you buy or lease. They also have rental options.

The Rhapsody in Blue High School Band and our Middle School Band have done it again. They are bringing home a 1st place trophy for each group after competing at Music in the Parks at Dollywood. The kids have worked hard all semester to earn this. Way to go bands!!!

We are so proud of our Rhapsody in Blue Concert Band!!! Today, they performed and sightread at ETSBOA's Concert Performance Assessment for a grade. It was their first time sightreading in public but still received a rating of Good. In performance we received a rating of Superior from all 3 judges! +A performance!!! Way to go band!!!

If you are a current sophomore through senior in high school, we’d love to have you come join us on April 11th at the UT Orange and White Game! Spend a day learning about the UT Band program, meeting current Pride of the Southland members, and performing in the stands of Neyland Stadium!
