Harrah Community Christian School HCCS exists to cooperate with parents in training their children through an educational program of academic excellence based on Biblical principles.

The main purpose of our school is to support, supplement, and cooperate with the parents in training their children through an educational program of academic excellence based on Biblical principles. The secondary purpose of our school is to provide training for children from non-Christian homes through an educational program of academic excellence based on Biblical principles (Deuteronomy 31:11-13). We realize that, while our basic premise is focused on assisting Christian parents in training and educating their children, our school has the God-given responsibility for evangelization (Matthew 28:19-20). The Biblical principles require that the training offered focus on shaping all the basic aspects of a student's whole being. Specifically, our goal for the student is that they would mature in the following areas:

Mentally - to acquire sufficient knowledge for living and to develop their mind to its fullest potential. Spiritually - to develop a God-centered view of life by integrating Biblical truth with academic learning so that their faith and practice are Christ-honoring; to develop leadership potential in each student; and to provide stimulating opportunities for continual spiritual growth. Morally - to develop knowledge and discernment of right and wrong according to the Scripture so that personal convictions may be developed and lived out. Physically - to be trained in the areas of physical fitness and proper stewardship of the body. Socially - to develop positive friendships and learn to properly relate to others and be sensitive to their needs. Emotionally - to be trained in developing appropriate emotional expression and a balanced response to life's situations.

Today is your final chance to grab The Ultimate Burger at the HCCS booth at the Central Washington State Fair! 🎉

The fair is open until 9pm tonight, so come hungry and fill up on:
🍔 The Ultimate Burger
🌭 Hot dogs, sausage dogs & mac and cheese dogs
🥪 Ham sandwiches
🥤 Coke products

Every purchase supports our students. This booth funds 20% of our school's operating budget, and today is the last day to help us finish strong. 💙

🍔🌭 THE FAIR IS ALMOST HERE! 🌭🍔

The Central Washington State Fair kicks off this Friday, Sept. 25 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 4 in Yakima — and the HCCS booth is fired up and ready to feed you!

Come hungry for:
🍔 The Ultimate Burger (trust us, it lives up to the name)
🌭 Hot Dogs
🌭 Sausage Dogs
🧀 Mac & Cheese Dogs
🥪 Ham Sandwiches
🥤 Ice-cold Coke products

Why it matters: This booth isn't just great fair food — it funds 20% of our school's operating budget. Every burger, every dog, every drink goes straight back to our students. 💙

🙋 WE NEED YOU! We're looking for volunteers to help cover weekday shifts (Mon–Thu). Whether you can give a few hours or a whole shift, it makes a huge difference. Grab a friend, bring your family, and come flip burgers with us!

We are back to school and ready for our fall fundraiser! We are selling beautiful potted mums from Buds & Blossoms in Zillah. Each mum is $25 and orders are due September 10th. Enrollment for 2026-2027 School Year is open now! Our mission is to offer a Christian education to all families who are seeking a wholesome, safe school environment with classrooms with small student to teacher ratios.
