Question???
When did it become okay for the school to pat our children down, when the believe they are hiding a phone? What’s going to happen when they pat down a child and find nothing? I’m not saying the phone policy is a bad idea. I just feel patting down a child cause you believe they are hiding a phone is taking it too far.

Hi folks! I know this page has been stagnant as I got my kids OUT and I’ve been trying to recover from the trauma this school put us through.
I am adding admins to run the page and hopefully be able to provide you with further support.
This school tends to run parents into the ground, so as a community we need to fight back against the administration who are STILL not providing appropriate support and relief to our children.

I do not have a child in the District any longer but I always know when things are not okay....
I exposed many issues with the school.
Many community members whose children were among the lucky did not understand my mission. They are the lucky ones.
These community members were so outright mean to me I chose to get my child OUT of that school and never look back.
But I do look back. I see the children flopping like fish out of water in a district that is not providing them with the services they require in order to appropriately develop into productive adults.
And it hurts.
After the last loss within the district I tried to delete this page. I wanted to run from the pain. For whatever reason I fumbled with the settings and couldn't figure it out. So I'm still here. And maybe it's for a purpose.
If you need a shoulder to cry on, a resource, or an advocate, I'm here. I will not let you flop around like a fish out of water. If you need help, send me a message. I promise to give you information, knowledge and power to assist YOU in advocating for yourself.
I won't advocate for you. I WILL TEACH YOU ❤️

It's my understanding every single special education teacher in the elementary school has resigned. Is this true?
My heart goes out to all the teachers who had the best of intentions when accepting a job at Harpursville, only to discover the cold hard truth.
This school fails to meet the needs of their children, the teachers hands are tied, and they end up leaving to save themselves. I don't blame them.

I'm sorry to hear things have not changed at this school.

Sorry to hear they still use CPS as a tool to manipulate parents into submission.

Sorry to hear they still sweep everything under the rug using privacy policy as an excuse for not providing you with information OR the consequences.

I'm sorry I got my child out and left you all behind 💔

Rullo is leaving Harpursville Central School after accepting a position with at DCMO BOCES as their new Superintendent. We are grateful for his resignation and sad for his future victims.

Here is your opportunity to express what you want to see in a new Superintendent. Rullo realized he ran this school into the ground and didn't want his career ruined by sticking around to watch it burn.

The School once again does not have water. The children are being forced to use dirty toilets, and can't wash their hands. This has been going on all day and no one outside the school was notified.
I called the Health Department who said its not what they do, call the local Code Enforcement.
I called the Broome County Executives Office. They listened, were very nice but also told me its not their territory, call the Superintendent (we know that's not an option, which I explained). They said I need to call the State. Unfortunately when you call the state, you have to leave a message and pray someone calls you back. That doesn't help these kids today, who don't have water to drink or clean restroom facilities RIGHT THIS MINUTE.
Its extremely troubling what the Superintendent is allowed to get away with. He has little to no accountability. The BOE is in his pocket. They are not an option either.
Until more people stand up, he will continue to allow our children to suffer.
