Breck County Middle School FFA

State convention= success. These BCMS FFA students got the opportunity to see industry leaders in agriculture in the exhibit hall, listen to some high school students pitch their SAE and business through KY FFA’s “Shark Tank”. Competed in the Opening/Closing Ceremonies Contest, FFA quiz bowl, and the Essay contest.

To top it all off, in Amelia Tucker’s state officer report, Mr. Hunter Marrlett got a shout out for his outstanding work ethic and contribution to our local FFA chapter, where he shows up with a smile and represents the Spirit of the FFA Creed.

Big congrats to these kiddos who competed today. Although they didnt take home any hardware, the judges were impressed and gave some very good feedback to help prepare us for state convention!

Had a blast learning about some secret missions at “Agency FFA” Middle School Leadership Conference.

Students were inspired to F.I.G.H.T. (Focus, Innovate, Genuine, Helpful, Timely.)for their chapter when planning events and FFA meetings.

Students also learned about effective collaboration and communication to achieve common goals.

To top it off, BCMS FFA members experienced how social media can be a useful tool in growing a chapter, and how it can be used effectively and appropriately through politeness, positive posts, professional posts, and proud posts about our organization.

A big THANK YOU to our Kentucky FFA Association state officers Macey, Laken, and Amelia for making this such a fun experience for many of our members’ first trip.
