Just a couple days of school left to go and the big clean up has begun. The students are hard at it getting everything ready for school next year. Mr. Shep very much appreciates everyone’s help doing so. It was an eventful year and a lot was accomplished and learned.

Sorry folks, but with the chance of thunderstorms and hail, we have decided to cancel the car show event.

Due to tomorrows weather forecast, we will be cancelling the SkillsUSA car show. Stay tuned for a possible reschedule this fall.

Please make plans to attend our SkillsUSA car show event on May 16th. This is or biggest fundraiser for the year. We appreciate everyone’s continued support of our SkillsUSA program and we look forward to seeing everyone.

Our machine tool student brought home a silver today. We are all very proud of Sam and the others on our team that competed this week @ the Skills USA Kentucky state competition.

I have come to learn that student led teaching is a powerful tool. Here one of our top junior machine tool/CMN students is showing the others his first run on a part he programmed using Mastercam on our HAAS ST-10Y lathe.

We are very proud of the hard work our BCATC Machine Tool Students have put into their Regional Competition. Our juniors students represented the program extremely well and brought home some great results in the machining completions. They placed 1st, 2nd & 3rd in 3-axis CNC MIll, and a second place in Manual machining. Great job to all of these students! Kentucky
