American Elite Grappling (AEG) Pittsburgh is led by 2nd degree black belt Brian Cowin. AEG was created by Ron Keslar, head instructor of American Elite Grappling in San Jose, California. AEG is the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team of the best MMA gym in the world American Kickboxing Academy. Brian is one of the highly regarded teachers of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, and was one o
f the most active competitors over 13 years with over 400 advanced division matches in 5 weight classes. In addition to 19 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, and Judo, Brian is also an Army Infantry veteran and experienced former Bodyguard. He regularly teaches self defense and BJJ seminars for several local organizations. Brian has been creating and leading educational programs for children, adults, developmentally disabled, and other groups in a variety of subjects his entire life. We are friends with many groups and teams, so all are good people are welcome. Class times:
