A huge thank you to Mrs. Bornong and lifeguards Darian Murray-Lawson and Coda VanAsperen for helping our K-6 Hillcrest Engineers kick off the school year with swimming during the first two weeks!

We are very fortunate to be part of a community with not just a functioning pool facility, but a beautifully maintained one. We don't take that for granted!

Congratulations to Mavis Raiford (3rd Grade) and Alix Pump (2nd Grade), our Little Engineer Award winners for tonight's volleyball game against Winnett/Grass Range! Both Mavis and Alix have shown outstanding kindness to everyone around them here at Hillcrest. They may be quiet, but their positive impact is felt by all! We're proud to recognize them tonight. Hillcrest Elementary is proud to recognize Dakota Berg (Kindergarten) and Lennon Hess (1st Grade) as our Little Engineers for Friday's volleyball games against DGS! Both of these young ladies light up our school every day with their energy and wit. Thank you, Dakota and Lennon, for being such respectful and responsible Engineers. Chugga Chugga! 🚂

Hillcrest kicked off September 1st the right way with a school-wide flag raising, with help from the American Legion and Auxiliary. We're pouring ourselves a cup of ambition and making Dolly proud! Let's get it, Engineers! 💪🏼 🚂

📚 Kid Librarian is Back at Harlowton Public Library! 📚

We are excited to bring back our Kid Librarian program in partnership with Hillcrest Elementary School!

Each month, we will recognize one outstanding student who demonstrates leadership, kindness, and positive influence among their peers at school.

Our monthly Kid Librarian will get to:

📖 Create and build their very own book display at the Harlowton Public Library
📚 Choose a book to add to their own personal library
🍎 Invite a special guest to join them for lunch in Ms. Snelling’s office
We are proud to celebrate the amazing young leaders in our community and give them an opportunity to share their love of books and reading with others!
