Harlingen School of Health Professions ILC We are the Information Literacy Center(ILC) for the Harlingen School of Health Professions.We are a future-ready library where we love YA lit and technology!

We help "Place yourself at the front of the line." At the HSHP Information Literacy Center we:

-strive to support both the educational needs and personal interests of our patrons by providing access to inspiring, quality resources in a variety of formats;

-aspire to aid in the development of lifelong, independent learners and ethical digital citizens;

-and seek to provide a welcoming space for reading, study, and reflection.

It was an Adobe Express type of morning in the library! Seniors made a Creative Self Portraits using AI generative images. They also reflected on their own traits, likes and dislikes to add words that best represented them. So much fun!

We’re starting a new year with intention at the HSHP ILC! As students came in for book checkouts or during lunch, they also made one word, bead, bracelets, choosing a word that represents what they want their ear to be about. It was fun to create and kickoff a new chapter together.
