Windy Hair Art Activity 🌬️🎨

The Windy Hair Art activity is a fun, creative way for children to explore the concept of wind and weather while developing important skills. Children use different types of straws to blow paint and create colorful “windy hair” designs.

This activity supports oral motor development as children practice controlled blowing and using their breath to move the paint. It also encourages creativity, fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and sensory exploration as children experiment with different tools and techniques.

Hugs Are Nice 🤗💚 – Social-Emotional Development Activity

As part of our Frog Street curriculum, the children participated in a social-emotional learning activity called “Hugs Are Nice.” We talked about how hugs can make us feel loved, happy, safe, and cared for. The children were encouraged to share how they feel when they give a hug and when they receive a hug from someone they trust.

We also discussed that everyone has different feelings about hugs and that it is important to ask permission and respect personal space. This activity helped the children practice identifying and expressing their emotions while learning about kindness, affection, and healthy social interactions. 💕

Our toddlers working on their Cognitive Development Activity. Paper Tearing Activity is a great way to strengthen their hands and fingers. This activity helps with bilateral coordination were children must use both hands for different tasks at once, with one hand pulling forward while the other pulls back.
They had a blast tearing up paper!🤩
