Hey Harleton School Community,

The HISD Staff was absolutely blessed over the past week during Staff Development!

We would like to recognize and extend sincere appreciation to the following people:
-Lori Howeth at Ivey Acres for hosting our Convocation
-Pat and Alexy McGill at Harleton Hardware and The Butt Stops Here for providing an outstanding breakfast to our staff at Convocation
-Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ebarb and Mr. and Mrs. Chance Ebarb for providing a great fish fry with all the trimmings for a staff lunch after Convocation
-Brother James Fleet and several church members at Smyrna Methodist Church for providing a delicious breakfast for our staff last Friday
-Pastor Craig Evers at Oak Grove Baptist Church for proving breakfast for the staff this past Monday morning

We are so thankful to serve in a community that loves on our school so well! Thank you all!

Junior High Meet the Teacher was a huge success. I didn’t get many pics, but we had a full house. Almost every single student showed up!! We only missed 12 tonight. We have such an amazing, supportive community. Can’t wait to get this year started!

Harleton high school volleyball started their action on the court today with scrimmage play at Big Sandy. After a week of new install and brushing up some skills they were able to bump, set and spike against someone other than themselves. The coaches were pleased with the competitiveness and enthusiasm they saw from the group as they participated in the controlled scrimmage format.
