Columbia University CEEM Graduate Student Council

On December 12, Construction Engineering and Management students will have the opportunity to attend the Intern-Supervisor panel discussion. The panel is structured to answer some of the common questions students have while applying for summer internships. It will give a chance to both the interns and supervisors to share their experience of working together. The main theme of the event is to define an "Ideal Intern" from the supervisor's perspective. The supervisors would also highlight the technical and interpersonal skills that they would like an intern to be equipped with. This will help students to work in the right direction, be better prepared for the role and get an insight of working in the construction industry. The panel discussion will be followed by a networking session with the supervisors.
The panel will consist of Anish Soman (ZDG LLC), Jessica Wang (STV Inc), Artie Birke (Structural Solutions), Anthony Manganiello (Group PMX), Houssam Akra (AECOM) and their respective interns.
Food and refreshments will be served at the event.
A link will be sent to the attendees to have your resume submitted to the supervisors.
