Congratulations Cyclones on a great first week of school!

We did a random drawing for making it through the first week of school successfully! Our winners are Sam Brummer and Carlie Hoffman.

They each received $20 worth of chamber bucks for any chamber business in Harlan.

Wow! What an amazing week! 🤩
As we kick off the first day of classes, we want to showcase what last week looked like for our staff.

Teachers have been busy preparing for a new school year. We have lots of thank yous for a great week of professional development, back-to-school night, and Coaching Greatness.

A big thank you to Shelby County Chamber of Commerce for donating Chamber Bucks to our teachers during their lunch and breakfast with the Pancake Man!

Thank you to the Education Foundation for purchasing and serving burgers at Back-to-School Night. The Cattlemen could be found cooking burgers! It was wonderful to see all our families in our buildings.

Thank you to Fareway and Hy-Vee for donating buns and water!

The teachers cooled off with some Tropical Sno on Friday before preparing for their last weekend of summer!

Important Health Notice!

If your child will be taking daily medications at school, requires an emergency medication such as an Epipen, inhaler, or seizure medication, or has a food allergy, please make sure you have printed off the required form(s) from our website AND have a doctor's signature on them to hand in for the first day of school.

Please also verify that your child has received all the required immunizations or has filled out a religious or medical exemption form.

Join us for an open house for ALL schools on Thursday, August 20th.
This event will be from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM.

During the high school open house, we will have the following events:
4:30 - 5:15 pm: Teen Safety and Supporting Your Teen (Bielenberg and Renter) in the Auditorium
5:15 pm: New Student and 9th Grade Parent Meeting in the Auditorium while students receive tours from the Student Council.

Clubs and organizations will also be open to provide information at this time.

From 5:00 - 6:30 pm: The Cattlemen will be serving burgers for families and staff in front of the high school.
