This week, students have been learning all about “Little Bo Peep” while focusing on identifying the characters, main events, and sequence of events in the story!

Ms. Curry’s class launched a sweet new life skills initiative today—Trojan Treats! Once a month, students will work together to make a special treat for our JACES staff.

Through each Trojan Treats experience, students will build independence, communication, social skills, teamwork, and everyday life skills through meaningful, hands-on learning.

Learning important skills, building confidence, and spreading kindness along the way—what a SWEET way to learn! ❤️🩵

Congratulations to our 1st, 5th, and 6th grade students for earning the top attendance honors for August! ❤️🩵

As their reward, each grade got to vote on the attendance incentive they wanted to enjoy! 🗳️✨ Our 5th and 6th graders chose some well-earned extra playtime, while 1st grade celebrated with popcorn and a showing of Horton Hears a Who! 🍿🎬

Ms. Gist’s 2nd graders celebrated an amazing first month together with a special donut treat! These Trojans have been wonderful listeners, worked hard during lessons, and have shown outstanding behavior each day. 🌟

We are so proud of the way they’ve started the year and can’t wait to see all they accomplish! ❤️🩵
