One thing that truly amazed me this year was seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces while sailing around Harkers Island. ⛵🌊

With strong winds, powerful currents, and a challenging course, these sailors had plenty to manage—but the excitement never faded. They were out there doing what sailors love most: reading the wind, working the current, finding the best angles, and enjoying every moment on the water.

Many boats found themselves on a beautiful broad reach, sails filled, boats moving fast, and sailors soaking in the experience. The competition was real—everyone wanted to catch the boat ahead—but the smiles told the bigger story.

This is what makes the Harkers Island Regatta special. It’s not just about who crosses the finish line first. It’s about the adventure, the challenge, the friendships, and the unforgettable feeling of sailing around one of the most beautiful places on the coast.

Strong wind. Strong current. Big smiles. A whole lot of fun. 🌊⛵

The expression says it all. You can almost imagine John Butine looking ahead at Dylan Barbour and thinking, *"I'm coming for you."* :-)

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our event such a success!

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to **IK Engraving, LLC** for providing the beautiful trophies, and to **ZIM** for supplying the gear used for the awards. Your generosity and support helped make this event truly special.

A very special thank you to **Paula Willis at Cape Pointe Marina** for your support and hospitality. We truly appreciate everything you did to help make this event possible.

And finally, thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and supported the event. Your enthusiasm and involvement made this a memorable event, and we couldn't have done it without each and every one of you!

We'll continue sharing photos from the event over the coming days. Matt is still making his way back to Rhode Island and will be sharing even more great pictures once he's home. Stay tuned—we can't wait to relive the memories with all of you!

Thank you again for making this event such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next one!
