🎤 One of the most impactful moments from our Industry Meet & Greet didn’t come from a speaker.

It came from a 19-year-old student.

Elisha, a recent high school graduate enrolled in our Solar Maintenance Technician program, asked a question that every employer wants to hear:

❓“What is the best mindset to have for company work?”

The response from industry leaders was clear:

Technical skills matter, but attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn are often what separate good employees from future leaders.

This week, the Training Center of Central Texas and Overwatch Energy were honored to support the PowerVETS Lounge at ACP 2026, bringing together veterans, industry leaders, and workforce partners from across the country.

What stood out most wasn’t the event itself—it was the people.

Veterans continuing to serve in a different way. Industry leaders investing in the next generation. Conversations that create opportunities and strengthen America’s workforce.

We were proud to represent Central Texas and proud to stand alongside so many men and women who continue to lead, build, and make an impact long after their military service ends.
